About Me

Engineering products from first sketch to final test

I am a goal-oriented Mechanical Engineer with 12 years of experience in design and development of new products and systems. My career spans two demanding industries: defense & aerospace, where I developed electro-mechanical missile seeker and surveillance systems, and semiconductor capital equipment, where I design wafer-processing platforms.

Currently a Staff Engineer / Technical Manager at Applied Materials in Bangalore, I lead modules for new PVD platform development — owning subsystems from requirement specification through design, analysis, prototyping and product validation, while mentoring young engineers along the way.

I believe in deep visualization, creative thinking and disciplined engineering: DFMA and lean design, value engineering, GD&T and tolerance stack-up, structural and thermal FEA, and rigorous risk management. Passionate about innovation — I love taking an idea and turning it into hardware that works.
